At this point I am almost half way through my vacation and the Farrell Hair Replacement System has held up beautifully. Today is the day I do the big roller coaster test. Since I have worn a Farrell System for almost two years now, I have ridden a few roller coasters and there has never been a problem. However the roller coaster I will ride today is a hypercoaster called the Steel Eel. This ride has a 15 story drop and gets up to 65 mph. According to the Sea World website, the main difference between a roller coaster and a hypercoaster is the amount of air time and weightlessness you feel with a hypercoaster.

All I can say is WOW!. This ride has to be in the top three of rides I have ever ridden. It goes so fast, I hardly had any time to think about my system. I do remember thinking If this thing is going to come off it will be now because not only were we going 65 mph but we were being thrown around like little rag dolls. Of course when I checked the hair system was still there and on tight.

On the way out, we stopped by those little stands that sale pictures of you riding the coaster. I was curious to see what my hair system looked like at 65 mph, so I stopped and checked it out. When my picture finally around I was really amazed. I looked at all of the other people first. Their hair was flying all over the place like it should and I looked at mine, it was doing the same thing. Even at high speeds the Farrell Hair System looks real. That is one of the great things about Farrell Hair System. It really does mimic your real hair in every way. I don’t think traditional or low cost systems can give you that kind of freedom. We spent the rest of the day see shows, riding rides and went swimming in their pool. I have to say I couldn’t be happier with my system.

The Farrell Hair System score for the amusement park test is A+. Tomorrow we are going swimming all day and I know I will be diving and swimming under water a lot. I did bring a swimmers cap but hopefully I wont need it.

For those of you who have never heard of Schlitterbahn, it is an awesome water based theme park. Every single ride is powered by water so this will be a great test for the Farrell System. We arrived at the water park and I have to be honest, I was a little freaked out. I have never seen so much water in my life. Not only that, I did not see a single head of dry hair in the place. It seemed everyone was soaking wet from head to toe. My first thought was “Dam, I should have brought a hat”. It was too late now so we stood in line for our first ride called the Master Blaster. This ride has been voted the best water ride in America for several years now and upon looking at it, I can see why. I want you envision a roller coaster but you are on a raft and the entire ride is propelled by water. The stairs leading to the ride seem to go into the clouds. As I was making my ascent, I was watching people on the ride and man they were getting wet. I was getting very nervous. FYI; if you ever visit this theme park and want to try this ride, make sure you get there very early. Since this is the flagship ride lines develop early. We waited in line nearly two and a half hours for what would eventually be a thirty second ride. Ok back to the story. After our long wait, it was finally time.

My girlfriend and I got in the raft and we were pushed off to embark on the best water ride in America. At first I was very paranoid then I remember thinking, this isn’t so bad. The water propelled us up the tube then down again. There was water here and there but nothing to be worried about. Then it happened. A sudden rush of water hit my face. The only thing I can compare to is someone turning a fire hose on and aiming at my head. I am not talking about a water hose you would use at your house. I am talking about one of those huge hoses used to put out fires. It happened so fast, I felt like I was going to go in to shock. The awful thing about this was, I couldn’t check because my hands were clutching the raft in fear of me falling out. I thought for sure I was going to have a problem. I remember looking around and seeing if it had actually come completely off. That’s how bad it was.

Once we got to the bottom we were thrown in to a pool and I immediately checked to see if it was still there. It was of course but since I am now officially drenched, I had to make my way to the nearest bathroom to make sure it wasn’t doing anything funny. I kept my head down and found the bathroom and looked in the mirror. At that moment I was really proud to be a Farrell customer. As I looked at my system in the mirror, I noticed two things. The first was my system had not moved or loosened at all. I think that is a testament to the research they put in to their adhesive products. I mean it was like nothing had ever happened. The second was the way my system looked completely wet. It looked amazing. The only way to describe it is to say that it looked no different than if it was my real hair. The way it fell on my face looked like completely natural. The coolest part was (no pun intended) the way the hair fell, it exposed my scalp and you could not tell the difference between this and real head of hair. I brushed it off my face and face the rest of the day with a new found confidence.

Next we rode the Raging River Tube Shoot and at one point the waves took me completely under water. It took me completely by surprise and for a few seconds I thought I might die. It would be pretty hard to die in 3 feet of water but still I had the whole life flashing before my eyes thing going on. It’s a funny thing when you wear a system and there is that one second you think you might die. Two thoughts cross your mind instead of one. I imagine most people think, oh my god, I might die. Of course I thought that but also I wondered if my system will still be there. Of course I did survive and the system performed like a champ. Once I made it up for air, I did a quick check and all was good.

We ended the day with some boogie boarding. I realized something weird standing in line for the boogie board ride. I started to notice all these guys wearing hats. I am not sure but I imagine at least a few of these guys were hair system wearers and didn’t have the confidence in their system as I had in my Farrell System. I mean why else would you wear a hat at a water park. Anyways back to the boogie boarding. I have never done this before and from what I was seeing I was not alone. People would get out on these boards and the waves would throw them about like little rag dolls. At this point I was less concerned about my system and more for my well being. It was finally my turn and was shot out into the waves with my board. Before the waves took me, I did manage to stay on for just over twenty seconds. Not bad for a first timer. I would have done it again if the line wasn’t so long. I had so much fun I think I might try and find a boogie boarding place back home to sharpen my skills.

At the end of Day 3 another victory for Farrell Hair Replacement. I can honestly say that if this hair system was going to mess up it would have been here. If it can handle Schlitterbahn, It can handle anything.

Tomorrow is Sea world and the Roller Coaster Test. Stay tuned

If you have ever been to San Antonio in the summer, you know it is like walking into an oven when you go outside. I love Texas but dam, it gets hot! We planned an all day trip to visit the Alamo, hang out at the river walk and go up in the Tower of the Americas. Trust me when I say it was hot. Temperatures peaked at 107 and the humidity was ridiculous. I don’t know if it was because I was coming from Los Angeles or if I am just a wimp but my whole body was drenched in sweat. The back of my shirt was drenched, continuous sweat pouring off my forehead and even my feet were sweating. I felt like I was in hell, literally.

The one thing I kept thinking was even though this is a Farrell system, will the adhesive hold. The first few hours we were at the Alamo I would slip into a bathroom and check the system thinking it might be coming loose on the hair line because I was sweating so much. To my surprise the system stood up beautifully and was on tight and my hair style was still looking sweet. Speaking of hair style, there is one thing I noticed and I think only Farrell systems do this because they design each system custom with a part line like your real hair. When I would sweat, my system still looked normal. When I would splash water on it, it would fall just like my real hair. It must be the way they make them because I was pretty impressed with how the system would adapted to my environment.

After a few hours of checking the system every time I saw a bathroom, my paranoia dissipated and after a while I completely forgot I was wearing a system and just enjoyed the day.

After the Alamo, we hung out at the River Walk and took boat ride. We grabbed some food and ended the day with a trip to the Tower of the Americas.

All and all it was a great day.

For the record, I use Farrell’s own Blue Adhesive so your experience may vary depending on what kind you use.

The Final grade for testing the Farrell System in extreme humidity is A+. I couldn’t have been happier with the way the system stood up in this heat. After what seemed like 40 gallons of sweat leaving my body, Farrell’s System still looked great at the end of the day.

If you live somewhere like Texas where there is extreme heat and humidity and are worried about the performance of the system, don’t be. If you look on Farrell’s website at www.farrellhair.com, he talks about how they design their system to breath. I never really understood what that meant until today. That is one of the pluses with a Farrell system. Unlike like traditional systems, He creates his so if you sweat, the system allows for the sweat to come through the system like it would with real hair. Pretty cool!

Tomorrow is the extreme water test. We are going to Schlitterbahn. It is an amusement park with roller coasters and crazy rides but all driven by water. Can the Farrell System hold up in this environment? Come back tomorrow and find out.

I have been a Farrell Hair Replacement customer for about two years now. The most I have ever put Farrell’s hair system through was working out 3 days a week and normal activities. I would say I am a typical customer putting normal wear and tear on the system. Thus far it has stood up great, but I am about to put the hair system to the ultimate test. I am going on a week vacation in San Antonio, Texas and this trip will put the system through everything you can think of. I will put the system through extreme humidity, temperatures of up to 107 degrees, water sports and theme parks. Feeling a little insecure, I called Richard Farrell and told him all I planned to do and ask him if he really thinks that the Farrell System will hold up under all of these circumstances. His confident reply of yes made me feel a little better and he said If I did a daily diary of how well it performed he would send me a care package of shampoo, conditioner and adhesive for the trip. So here it goes.

Day 1 (wearing a hair system and having sex)

I arrived in San Antonio last night and met up with my girlfriend. We haven’t seen each other in a few months so without going into detail, it was a great night. For anyone who is concerned about wearing a hair system and having sex, I can tell you that this has never been a problem. My girlfriend knows I wear a hair system but she did not know for the first couple of months and she was very surprised when I told her. So the sex test passed with flying colors.

Tomorrow I will see how well the system handles extreme humidity. Stay tuned.
